If you have eaten nasi kandar at the many nasi kandars stores around the country, you would realize that they have reduced their prices following the governments call to reduce prices inline with the drop in global oil prices.
But one restraurent with very high prices has to be the Lotus Chain or restaurents. A lunch consisting of half-rice, two types of vegetables and one piece of chicken will cost you RM10.90. And that excludes any drinks. The one that I visited was situated opposite Citibank in Jalan Ampang. Obivously its making a lot of profit judging by the crowd in the restaurent during lunch. And the food was only slightly better than what you find in cheap nasi kandar's shops but defintely not worth the RM10.90. RM8 would be a reasonable price.
I guess that's the last I'm visiting a Lotus.
